Gagea pratensis

Gagea pratensis (Pers.) Dum. (syn.: G. stenopetala Reichenb.) (C-Eur., SC-Eur.) – An exceptional alien of unknown origin. Its residence status and degree of naturalization remain unclear. Recorded once in a cemetery in Zoutleeuw in 1998 (Vannerom 1999) where it has not been confirmed lately.
In similar places it was shown to be less rare than expected in the Netherlands (Sollman 1979). It may have been overlooked in old cemeteries, estates, etc.
