Lepidium perfoliatum

Lepidium perfoliatum L. (SE-Eur., W and C-As.) – A rare and much decreasing, always ephemeral alien. First recorded in Elsene (Brussel) in 1871, without further details. In the beginning of the 20th century sometimes seen as a wool alien in the Vesdre valley. Furthermore recorded in rather few, widely scattered locations. After 1950 only rarely seen, for instance in Roly (1953) and on the unloading quay of the Albertkanaal in Schoten in 1999 (birdseed alien). In 2012 and 2013 also seen, along with Erysimum repandum, in a coal terminal in the Ghent port area.
