Muhlenbergia Schreb.

Muhlenbergia is a rather large genus with ca. 155 species. Most are native in the New World (some in southeastern Asia). Several however have become widely dispersed as weeds in several different warm-temperate and subtropical regions of the world. One species, Muhlenbergia mexicana, has been recorded in Belgium.
