Glandularia x hybrida
Glandularia xhybrida (Grönland et Rümpler) Nesom et Pruski (syn.: Verbena xhybrida Grönland et Rümpler) (hort., garden escape) – A very rare, ephemeral garden escape. Already recorded in the 19th century in Belgium. In recent times more frequently cultivated and more regularly seen, for instance in Asper in 2010 and in Boom (foot of wall) in 2012.
Glandularia xhybrida is a complex hybrid involving G. canadensis (L.) Nutt., G. phlogiflora Schnack et Covas, G. peruviana (L.) Small and possibly others. It is very widely grown (probably more than either parents) but rarely seems to escape (Pruski & Nesom 1992).
