Cannabis

Cannabis L.

Cannabis is a monospecific genus native to Central Asia. Its single species, Cannabis sativa (Indian hemp), is widely cultivated, mainly as a psychotropic drug or for fiber (less commonly also as an oil seed, as bird seed, etc.).
